Inhalation sedation – modern treatment in an atmosphere of complete comfort
Inhalation sedation, also known as “laughing gas,” is a modern and safe method of reducing anxiety and tension during dental procedures. It involves administering a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen through a special nasal mask, which induces a feeling of relaxation, calm, and lightness. The patient remains conscious, maintains communication with the dentist, while at the same time experiencing significantly less discomfort related to the treatment.

How it works
The sedation procedure begins with placing a nasal mask through which the patient inhales a mixture of gases.
The relaxing effect appears within a few minutes and lasts throughout the entire procedure.
After the treatment, the patient breathes pure oxygen, which allows for a quick return to full awareness and normal functioning.
Inhalation sedation is considered one of the safest calming methods in dentistry.
It does not require the presence of an anesthesiologist, and its effects are short-term and reversible.
Inhalation sedation is especially recommended for:
Patients with dentophobia
(fear of dental treatment).
Children from the age of 4
who are afraid of dental visits.
People with sensitivity
to pain, gag reflex, or nervous hyperactivity.
Patients with conditions
such as epilepsy or asthma, where stress may aggravate symptoms.
